About Us
We, two students, set up this project after being moved by the stories of TB patients whose treatment consumes all their resources, leaving them unable to afford their rent or their child’s education, and we are driven to action by the lack of government support and funding for multi drug resistant tuberculosis patients.
It is not just their health; TB infects the patients’ lives. However, it is curable, and we hope that you will contribute, in any way, to defeat the suffering of these patients. TB forces innumerable underprivileged families to choose between their medicines (which eventually translates to their lives) and other basic needs. With our help, they won’t have to make this choice.
Since we are not registered as an NGO, we can not accept donations from you. Instead, we choose to connect you directly to the patients. We recognize that each patient has different needs and by being the mediator between you and those affected by tuberculosis, we will let you care for underprivileged families in a more personal manner.
